A military helicopter support company was contracted to provide an extended range fuel system kit. The system required a high flow, mechanically actuated fuel transfer valve to manage fuel delivery from either of the two tanks. A rapid development was required to avoid being invasive to the electrical system.

A 3 way selector valve using advanced interconnected butterfly valves, was developed to allow for much less actuation torque than a traditional ball valve (An equivalent performance ball valve would have required an electric motor for actuation).

AUSCO developed and supplied hardware in 16 weeks. An effort to support our troops.
